The Math Club had a great time constructing origami art last Wednesday. Look at all the cool stuff we made out of paper: Frogs, boxes, cats, airplanes, and PLENTY of swans (all pictured below)! Remember, there will be another meeting this Wednesday, 3/11/15. Hope to see you there!
Also, Dr. Snyder's dissertation advisor from The University of Tennessee will be giving a guest lecture titled "The Marvelous Cantor Set." This will, of course, be a good opportunity for upper-division undergraduate students as well as graduate students to attend what should be an amazing seminar! This will be held on Friday, April 10, from 11 - 11:30am. Location TBD. Cookies will be provided. Math Club and/or PME members and officers are especially encouraged to go.
